Repositioning an outreach specialist for Australia’s climate tech founders
Ayda Ahmed runs the LinkedIn outreach that books investor, client and partner meetings for Australian decarbonisation startups. Her own profile, though, still read like generic sales. We rebuilt her positioning around climate tech and launched a twice-weekly content programme aimed at the founders and investors she wants to work with.

The context behind the work.
Ayda works with Australian decarbonisation startups, running the personalised LinkedIn outreach that puts Series A and B founders in front of investors, clients and partners. She already did this work for others. Her own LinkedIn didn’t show it.
She came to Signal House in August 2026 with two goals: brand awareness and inbound leads. She would keep running her own outbound. Our job was to make her profile and content do the introducing, so the right founders arrived already knowing what she does.

What she came to us with.
Her profile and her content told different stories. The headline mentioned decarbonisation startups, but the Experience section and the posts underneath it read as generic sales, with nothing on climate tech. A founder checking her out had little to confirm she knew their world.
There was almost no content history. Three text-only posts in mid-August 2026, none of them about climate tech, and no comments across the three. Without a steady stream of relevant posts, there was no way to build familiarity with founders before she ever messaged them.
Nothing was set up to convert attention. Creator Mode was off, there were no recommendations and no booking link, so even interested visitors had no obvious next step.
How we approached it.
Audit & Positioning · August 2026
We audited the profile and existing content, then defined three audiences: fundraising-ready Australian decarbonisation founders, the climate investors who refer them, and sustainability and operations leaders at industrial facilities. Everything that followed was written for those three groups.
Profile Revamp & Voice · August 2026
We drafted a new headline built around warm investor introductions for decarbonisation founders, a new About section, Featured items and a reordered Experience section. Alongside it, a tone-of-voice guide: story-first, niche-specific, never corporate, and every number checkable.
Content Engine · From 1 September 2026
A twice-weekly calendar built on themes such as Learning in Public, Outreach Done Right, Founder & Investor Reality and Breaking into Climate Tech. Storytelling, point-of-view and reflective posts, so her journey becomes the credibility.
Engagement & Network Building · From September 2026
Alongside the posts, we commented on posts by creators her audiences follow (30 comments between 23 September and 19 October) and sent over 200 targeted connection requests to her audience lists, so every new post landed in front of more of the right people.

What we learned.
Positioning came before content. Defining three specific audiences first meant every post, comment and connection request pointed in the same direction.
The audience followed the niche. Within seven weeks, founders, CEOs and co-founders were the largest job-title groups among her followers, and renewables manufacturing the largest industry.
It is still early. Inbound leads and meetings are not yet captured in this data, so we will report those outcomes once there is enough history to measure them.
